Job Description
Responsibilities*Curating Data:
Execute thorough cleaning, standardization, and transformation of data, maintaining rigorous quality control to ensure database accuracy and reliability in collaboration with Senior Data Analyst.
A Diligently monitor the progression of data through transformation pipelines, skillfully juggling responsibilities across various projects.
Proactively engage in the discovery and integration of new data sources and varieties, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to our data curation practices.
Manage and oversee user accounts across a range of software applications, catering to a diverse and global user community.
Professional Development and Continuous Improvement:
Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of current data curation techniques and healthcare research trends.
Participate in weekly center wide and team meetings.
Other items as assigned.
Required Qualifications*
High school diploma
A keen eye for detail and organization
Some experience with Google Suite tools (sheets, docs, etc.)
Some experience with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with SQL databases and queries
Familiarity with data curation, data management, or data science
Good communication skills, experience working on a multi-disciplinary team, and ability to work independently on multiple ongoing projects
Desired Qualifications*
Bachelors degree in a recognized field of science
Experience with Google Analytics or willingness to learn
Basic understanding of biology and statistics
Knowledge and experience with clinical research projects and high-throughput genomics data
Experience writing scripts to perform data transformations

Additional Information
