Job Description

Seeking highly motivated research scientists with or without previous postdoctoral experience for a NIH-funded project focused on the molecular characterization of the structural determinants of hepatic cytochrome P450 protein turnover and ER-associated proteolytic degradation (ERAD/autophagy). Applicants must have a recent PhD degree in Biochemistry, Molecular/Cell Biology, Medicinal Chemistry or Chemical Biology and publication-documented expertise in molecular cloning, cell/isolation and culture, RNAi gene knockdown, enzymology, protein chemistry and/or other modern molecular biological/biochemical techniques & approaches. Salary & fringe benefits commensurate with years of relevant experience & UC and NIH guidelines.
