Job Description

The Talent Sourcer partners closely with the Talent Acquisition Client Recruiters and Hiring Leader to understand staffing needs then develop and implement a proactive, innovative sourcing strategy focused on critical, difficult and visible roles in a service line. Ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and recruit diverse, top talent. The Talent Sourcer will creatively source, assess and select qualified applicants to be referred as candidates for open searches including networking and cultivating a talent pipeline. The Talent Sourcer will also be responsible for creating a positive customer experience to applicants. This role will anticipate industry trends and utilizes labor market information to ensure best-in-class candidate sourcing.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Client Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Leaders to understand staffing needs and develop a proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategy to attract and recruit top talent.
  • Develops and executes a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a diverse pool of qualified applicants for vacancies.
  • Performs advanced sourcing including social media, internet and data base mining, developing relationships with professional organizations, colleges and schools, community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions.
  • Conducts cold calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical, difficult and visible positions.
  • Performs structured screening and assessment to ensure applicants meet both job and organization requirements.
  • Makes recommendation to the Client Recruiter and hiring manager(s) on the referral of the qualified candidates. 
  • Participates in media planning to determine media contracts.
  • Enters and maintains, current and accurate information in the Applicant Tracking System including but not limited to: job posting content, applicant tracking and response, anecdotal information and other required data.
  • Communicates status of searches with the Client Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Leaders on a consistent and timely basis.
  • Maintains and reports Recruitment Metrics for assigned departments/key jobs on a regular scheduled basis.
  • Manages responses to applicants including but not limited to: receipt of application, application status and specific information reconciling applicant qualifications relative to job requirements.
  • Acts as a key resource for referred candidates in identifying best fits, providing recommendations of the best way to engage in our recruitment process and following up with the referring party.
  • Develops and maintains network and database of potential candidates for future reference including pipeline of passive candidates.
  • Maintains knowledge of current health care system employee benefits, salary structures, etc.  Provides candidate information related to culture and benefits, which promotes our health care system as the Employer of Choice.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the areas of Recruiting, Human Resources and Healthcare by reading appropriate books, journals, articles and literature and attending professional development activities including webinars and professional association meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Communications, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources or related field.

Certifications:

  • Prefer certification in Human Resources or Healthcare Recruitment.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience focused on candidate sourcing and generation OR an internal Talent Acquisition team member obtained through an entity integration with proven performance and completion of sourcer training program.
  • Offset: High School Diploma/GED and an additional 4 years of recruitment experience focused on candidate sourcing and generation, including 3 years of full-life cycle recruitment and sourcing experience OR an internal Talent Acquisition team member obtained through an entity integration with proven performance and completion of sourcer training program.
  • Experience with Recruitment Marketing technology and understanding related analytics.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with advanced internet sourcing techniques including Boolean key search strings, X-raying, Flipping, peel-back, and harvesting
  • Deep knowledge and experience using LinkedIn, Spoke, Xing, and other online databases
  • Deep experience using recruiting related technologies such as ATS, CRM, and other resource systems.

Requirements:

  • Normal physical demands include dexterity sufficient to operate a personal computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to travel to alternate sites throughout the organization.
  • Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.

Personal Protective Equipment:
