Job Description
Our innovative nursing programs seek creative faculty who are passionate about teaching, and who have a commitment to diversity and learner-centered education. Linfield's concept-based nursing curriculum provides a quality education derived from a liberal arts foundation, nursing theory and research. We are actively seeking candidates for a Tenure Track Nursing Faculty position.Linfield University is a private, comprehensive undergraduate institution with the main campus in McMinnville, Oregon. The School of Nursing is located on our new campus in Northeast Portland. There are approximately 400 pre-licensure students across our pre-licensure programs and we have 200 RN to BSN students in our online program. We are starting a Master's Entry into Professional Nursing (MEPN) program in January 2023. Our NCLEX pass rates are significantly above national rates. Students have clinical experiences in a wide variety of hospitals and health care facilities in Portland and surrounding areas. We have a cutting-edge simulation program based on neurobiological learning theory.

Required Qualifications
All faculty candidates must possess 1) a doctoral or master's degree in Nursing, 2) an Oregon Nursing license (or eligibility for licensure in Oregon), and 3) three years of full-time nursing practice experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of effective teaching at the BSN and MSN level.
Previous experience in a higher education setting.
A terminal degree in nursing (PhD or DNP)
