The successful candidate:

As a Certified Lymphedema Occupational Therapist, you will provide personalized and comprehensive care to patients within our Acute Care and Outpatient rehabilitation departments. Utilizing a blend of therapeutic techniques, innovative technology, and collaborative patient engagement, you will strive to optimize patient function and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized patient care, employing therapeutic interventions and innovative technology to facilitate rehabilitation and improve patient outcomes.

  • Take ownership of patient care processes, including assessment, treatment planning, education, and supervision of therapeutic activities.

  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance to support staff, ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care.

  • Foster collaboration among patients, healthcare professionals, and support staff to enhance the rehabilitation process.

  • Maintain accountability for achieving optimal patient function through progressive exercise, activity direction, and educational interventions.

  • Adhere to established schedules, providing patient care during Monday to Friday day shift hours.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or a school recognized by the World Congress of Occupational Therapy.

Certifications:

  • Certification as a Lymphedema Therapist is required, or eligibility to sit for the certification examination.

  • Must have successfully passed the national certification examination for Occupational Therapy.

  • Possession of a current Georgia state license in Occupational Therapy.

Experience:

  • Hospital experience is preferred, although not mandatory.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $36.72 - $60.47 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
